In this DIY project, Roderick shows how he used the online sawing service to create a sturdy structure for the washing machine. He chose to order waterproof plywood in a thickness of 18mm. By ordering the panels online, he could get started on the job immediately.
Description of Roderick
Walk-in closet in the laundry room around the central heating boiler. However, the drainage flowed in an unfavorable manner, which made it more beneficial to build the cabinets on a surface so that the washing machine could be placed against the back. Built a sturdy elevation using plywood for this purpose
How I made this project
Have plywood cut to the correct sizes by ordering them online, then use a jigsaw to cut recesses at the back for the drain made. The uprights were made where the cabinets were located. Screws driven through the plywood, so that it is a sturdy whole. Made level by making small slats from the sawn off material. (this was necessary because the floor is not 100% even). Finally got it perfectly level. The Ikea/PAX cabinets were reinforced in the cabinet with washing machine (due to weight 80kg).
