Description

We have made a dining table bench in the kitchen. The flaps are mounted on piano hinges so that there is storage space below. The sofa is inspired by this YouTube video, with some minor adjustments: https://youtu.be/84uTA-pBogQ

Custom dining table bench

It is best to watch the YouTube video look, but started mounting beams on the wall and placing the partitions. Then the floor slat. We did not secure these to the floor, but only attached them to the dividers. Then saw the kick plate at 15 degrees with the circular saw and secured it. Then another slat was secured to the wall side on top. Finally, the flaps were attached with piano hinges. Everything secured with screws and wood glue.

The dimensions of the sofa

328.0 cm wide, 40.0 cm high (without cushions)
