Custom desk made of thickened MDF

Description

Desk made of thickened MDF with a cabinet for the PC in the middle. The top should appear floating (except for the middle) because it is slid over slats that are attached to the wall.

How did you make the desk?

Desk and base cabinet matt white lacquered. I ordered MDF Lakdrager, so 1 layer of lacquer was sufficient. I mounted the slats on the wall by measuring the correct height and marking it level. It was very important to mark this properly because the cabinet had to fit exactly underneath later. The slats are attached with impact plugs. Then the desk was slid over the slats and screwed to the bottom. The cabinet was then placed under the desk. Sealing both sides is still under consideration. The keyboard and monitor cables have been pulled through the desktop.
