Description of Franklin and Michelle

We have made a nice children's corner from the Nordli chests of drawers and oak carpentry panels.

How I made this project

The carpentry panels were custom ordered. We sanded and varnished this (3x, lightly sanded again before the final layer of varnish) with Skylt varnish for an untreated but smooth result that can withstand a knock and on which a glass of lemonade can be spilled. The panels are glued and then blindly screwed together using a jig. The children can enjoy playing in it, it has really become their own corner.

Dimensions of my DIY project

57 x 188 x 47 cm
