Description
OSB Skirting boards ordered to size (including beautiful rounded edge) for a self-installed OSB floor. The OSB panels are available everywhere in the hardware store, but nowhere is there an option for matching skirting boards. Thanks to OPMAATZAGEN.nl you can even order thickness, material, finish, etc. and that too in skirting board format. Highly recommended!
Work description: how did you realize your project?
Ordered OSB panels (244.0 x 6.0 x 1.8 cm) and cut them to size yourself with a cross-cut saw. Can simply be attached to the wall with (skirting) glue, possibly a small nail.
The skirting boards were sawn straight and therefore ideal for pressing against the wall. It is advisable to use a minimum thickness of 18 mm for this, because less thick skirting boards may quickly bend.
The rounded corners of 6 mm could have been even more extreme (perhaps 10 mm or more).
The dimensions of the project
6.0 cm high, 18 mm thick OSB plinth. Ideal for covering the seams at the edge.
