Modern, homemade toilet furniture custom made from pine wood panel, by Willem

In this project, Willem shows how he made a beautiful custom toilet furniture. Due to the special dimensions, he could not use standard furniture in the toilet. By using space smartly and choosing good and sustainable materials, the result is impressive.

Our toilet has slightly different dimensions. Finding a bathroom furniture was therefore not that easy. We purchased the solid-surface sink and tap separately.

How I made this project

We measured the space exactly and made a few sketches. We then ordered all the individual planks online in the webshop. After delivery, we mitered the planks and cut out the opening for the sink. We glued the furniture with wood glue, brackets on the inside and painter's tape on the outside to keep everything in place. We ordered a special hinge drill from other web shops and two internal hinges, cupboard hangers and a handle. Entire piece of furniture hardwaxed, hung, sink glued and assembled.
