In this DIY project, Mitch shows how he made children's furniture himself. By ordering the spruce carpentry panels sawn online, he was able to start his project immediately. Read more about his experience below.

Mitch's description

I made a piece of furniture for my 1-year-old son. Now he still uses the 2 storage bins to put his toys in, but if If he is a little older, he can also sit on this piece of furniture with a chair. Ideal storage space to keep the house tidy after a day of playing with all the toys. Robust wood and construction, strong enough for the little guy.

How I made this project

I found a photo with a short description on the internet. This piece of furniture cost over 500 euros, but by making it myself I saved 200 euros. Based on my own knowledge and experience, I calculated the panels and ordered and received everything in the correct size. I was able to make the construction and the drawer boxes screwless with dowel connections. The bottom of the drawer boxes and the wheels are screwed, but you can't see anything.

Dimensions of my DIY project

L: 153.0 cm
W: 45 .0 cm
H:45.0 cm
