Furnishing a home remains a creative challenge. Sometimes you have something specific in mind and you simply can't find it online. That was the case with our new TV cabinet. Luckily, I ended up at TOSIZE.ie, where I was able to design a custom cabinet in no time. How did that go? Read along!
Design in the online tool
The tool on the website turned out to be a golden find. We had designed our cabinet in no time. We already knew how handy this was because we already have a large cabinet of TOSIZE.ie. Our goal: a sleek, simple model that would be as low as possible, but had to have the option for doors. What is handy: the tool immediately calculates for you whether your design is practically feasible. For example, we discovered that the cabinet could not be too low because of the doors. Adjusting everything was super easy, and before I knew it, our design was fixed.
Order and wait
After designing, ordering is a piece of cake. Then you have to be patient, because it takes a few weeks before the cabinet is delivered. But I can tell you: the wait is absolutely worth it!
Super fast delivery and clear instructions
The delivery went smoothly. The driver was at the door at the agreed time, and we could get started right away. When unpacking, we saw how clearly everything was arranged. Each part was provided with stickers with numbers, and the manual clearly indicated what should go where. This really saved a lot of hassle.
Assembly: quick and easy
Within an hour our cabinet was ready! We didn't need any extra tools, because everything was already prepared. Adjusting the doors required some precision work, but even that was no problem thanks to the handy explanation. It feels so good when something just works as promised.
A personal touch: painting
For this cabinet I had chosen a primed wood type, which meant that I only had to paint once. (A tip from experience: I had not done that with our previous cabinet, and that took a lot more time.) This time I chose the color Spidermum, mixed at the hardware store as wood varnish. The paint took perfectly, and after a day of drying we could finish the cabinet completely with accessories.
Completely to your wishes
What I like about a custom-made cabinet is that you can adjust it to your specific space. This cabinet fits perfectly with the panels on our wall and takes into account the height of the sockets. The result? A long, spacious cabinet with plenty of storage space, completely tailored to our wishes and style.
Now tell me, a custom cabinet sounds like the perfect solution, right? We are certainly very happy with the end result! Do you also want something unique? Then definitely take a look at TOSIZE.ie.
